Simply arrange your plain cupcakes in a desired shape or formation - for example, as a crown or tiara - then ice them all together as one, creating one whole shape, like joining the dots. Then finish off with some colourful icing to add some special details to bring your creation to life! You could even add some edible gems as an adorable extra.

2. DIY her a princess themed drinks making kit

With everything she needs to make some adorable princess themed drinks or mocktails for kids! You could include items such as cotton candy, to make cotton candy mocktails, with butterfly pea flower to make colour changing mocktails, with a little guide or recipes to make the drinks, along with edible shimmer for drinks and make some cute crown paper straws or stirrers to pop in there too!

3. DIY her a decorate your own tiara kit

This is a super cute low cost gift option that also makes an adorable creative gift idea for girls! Simply print them an assortment of paper crowns and tiara designs - or gift them a couple of ready made tiaras - and include some crayons or paint, craft jewels and glitter. You could even include some pretty sweet wrappers, stickers or cut out pieces of pretty scrap paper from old magazines.

4. Make her a sticker book or album plus some stickers to start her collection

To make the stickers you will just need a printer and some blank printable a4 sticker sheets, that people use for making labels. Then put together some pages of cute designs from the web - we like to compile a word document full of cute free to use illustrations - or even DIY them some custom one of a kind stickers by designing your own! Then simply print them by loading the blank a4 sticker printer paper in to the printer, and set to print as normal!

You could even make her a blank sticker book for her new sticker collection, by gathering some special wax coated pages and sewing the pages down the middle, to create the binding. Design a pretty cover and voila!

5. DIY her a princess themed gift box

The cutest way to gift something inexpensive, like candy or snacks, but make them look adorable and turn them into a whole gift on their own! This is a great low cost gift option that looks so exciting to receive!

6. DIY her some princess themed chocolate covered Oreos

To make these, you could melt some batches of white cooking chocolate and mix in a tiny amount of food colouring to each, before encasing them in chocolate in a special tray - layer some chocolate in each of the moulds before gently pressing an Oreo in to each, then carefully cover it with a little more chocolate until the Oreo is completely submerged, then smooth over the top and pop in the fridge to set, once each mould is filled.

You could alternate colours for a colourful selection or even create a cool ombre effect! Another method is to dip half your Oreo cookie in to the chocolate, then let it set and then do the same with the other half. Repeat with your desired number of oreos before whipping up another bowl of melted chocolate in a different colour and doing the same using that batch. Pop them in the fridge to set, then decorate however you like! Then allow them to set again, before placing in a cute gift box or cupcake style box.

7. Bake a bunch of princess themed cookie pops

Bake the sticks in to the cookies in the oven, then ice and decorate them and arrange them in a beautiful formation, tied with a ribbon! You could try plain sugar cookies or opt for chocolate flavour - or try a mixture of both!

18. Make her a set of dancing princess marshmallows

The most gorgeous princess inspired gift! DIY some special zephyr marshmallows, which appear in shape like meringues - one of our favourite recipes is here. Each zephyr marshmallow will be used to resemble a swirly princess skirt - you could even make them in different pretty pastel hues for different princesses! Once made and ready to gift, create some princess body toppers using some cardstock, mini skewers and some printed Disney princess motifs. Crop each motif character at the bodice, just above where the skirt begins, then back them on to some card or cardstock and fix them to the skewers. Then insert each topper into its own marshmallow, so that the zephyr resembles the skirt flowing from the character!

19. Make her some princess themed popcorn parcels

There's nothing sweeter than pink popcorn! Make this by using a few drops of food colouring along with corn syrup and butter (follow this recipe here!) You could make multiple sets in different colours to represent each Disney princess character. Add some edible glitter and even mini marshmallows to make it extra magical!

23. Make her a princess themed slime play kit

This is such a fun sensory gift idea for young kids that is also low cost and easy to DIY!

To make slime, you will need 100ml PVA white glue (children’s craft glue or CE marked glue), ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda gel food colouring,1 tsp contact lens cleaning solution and some glitter/beads/decorations. A small blob of shaving foam is optional but makes for extra fluffy slime!

1. Squeeze the glue into a mixing bowl (look for a bottle in a 100ml size if possible so you won’t have to measure it out). Add the bicarbonate of soda and mix well.

2. Add a drop or two of your chosen gel food colouring. Less colouring gives a pastel colour; the more you add, the brighter the colour. Mix until well incorporated.

3. Add the contact lens solution and mix. The slime will begin to form, going stringy before coming away clean from the bowl into a ball.

4. Once it has formed, take it out and knead it with your hands. It will be sticky at first but after about 30 seconds you’ll have a smooth and pliable ball. Add glitter at this point, if desired, and work in with your hands. Store in a pot with a lid.

Tip! For gloopier slime, try adding less than 1 tsp contact lens solution, mixing it in drop by drop until it just goes stringy and begins to come away from the bowl. Then knead.

24. Make her a princess themed snack bouquet gift

Why not put together a selection of adorable sweets or snacks, arranged in bouquet formation! You could even arrange them in a letter or number shaped gift box, for a standout display and gorgeous looking gift!

25. Craft her a 'Belle's mug cake library'

This is such a fun and cute low cost - or no cost - gift idea that she will love! Mug cakes are the perfect easy comforting dessert and she will love being able to make her own on a whim. Create some mug cake mixes (minus the milk or wet ingredient) in different flavours and colours, to represent each princess or each character within the Beauty and the Beast movies, and place each one in its own airtight container or zip lock sachet.

Your recipient will only need to add the wet ingredient to the mixture and pop it in the microwave to create their mug cake! You could even include an adorable mug as part of the gift. You can even order ready made mixes all ready for your recipient if short on time!

Make some super pretty candy bark/chocolate slab and add some edible glitter! This is super easy to make and requires no baking and all you will need is some cooking chocolate or melting chocolate (milk chocolate or white chocolate is fine) and some sweets or candy pieces.

You could even change the colour of your candy bark and make it pink or purple by melting down some white cooking chocolate and stirring in a few very small drops of food colouring. All you need to then is pour in to a mold and decorate with all the cutest sweets and candy of choice, with a sprinkle of edible shimmer or glitter!

Then pop in the fridge to set and break in to pieces when cool, to arrange in a pretty bag and tie with a ribbon! There's so many ways to get creative with this and you could add a sprinkle of freeze dried raspberries or incorporate a swirl of melted milk chocolate to create a pretty pattern. Sprinkle in some jelly sweets and add some popping candy, a must have ingredient, to finish, before setting it to cool!
